AlphaPepe Dev Release #011

Alpha Smart Trading brings AI-assisted swaps, conversational trading and planned Autotrade to AlphaSwap, with $ALPE-powered access and trading credits.

AlphaSwap’s next development layer is moving toward AI-assisted trading, starting with Claude integration and expanding to other compatible AI assistants.

The idea is simple: instead of jumping between charts, token scanners, DEX interfaces and wallets, traders will be able to ask for market information, discover tokens, prepare swaps and eventually manage automated trading rules through a conversation.

AlphaSwap will handle the execution layer underneath.


Trading Through Conversation

Alpha Smart Trading is being designed around an MCP-based integration layer that allows compatible AI assistants to access AlphaSwap trading tools without giving the AI unrestricted control over a wallet.

A user could eventually ask:

  • “Show me trending tokens on BNB Chain.”
  • “Compare liquidity and price movement for these three tokens.”
  • “Prepare a $500 swap into this token.”
  • “Only execute if slippage stays below 1%.”
  • “Stop trading if my daily allocation reaches $1,000.”

The AI handles the request and decision flow, while AlphaSwap handles the actual trade preparation, routing and on-chain execution.

For retail users, this removes a lot of the friction between finding an opportunity and actually trading it.


MCP-Based Trading Infrastructure

The technical foundation is being built around Model Context Protocol, or MCP, allowing an AI assistant to call a restricted set of AlphaSwap functions.

Instead of giving an AI access to a private key, AlphaSwap exposes specific trading tools with defined inputs and permissions.

The flow is designed around:

User Request → AI Assistant → AlphaSwap MCP Tools → Route Validation → Wallet / Execution

The AI can understand what the user wants to do, but AlphaSwap remains responsible for turning that request into a valid on-chain transaction.

Before a Trade Is Prepared

AlphaSwap can check:

  • wallet balance
  • token allowances
  • available liquidity
  • expected output
  • slippage settings
  • supported chain
  • transaction parameters

Only after those checks pass is the transaction prepared for execution.

In simple terms: the AI can help make the decision, but AlphaSwap remains the trading engine underneath it.


AI-Assisted Swaps on Ethereum and BNB Chain

The first version of Alpha Smart Trading is planned around Ethereum and BNB Chain.

When a user requests a trade, AlphaSwap will source swap quotes across supported decentralised exchanges and compare the available routes before preparing the transaction.

That means the conversational layer is not replacing AlphaRouter.

It sits on top of it.

The AI understands the instruction. AlphaRouter determines how the trade should execute. AlphaSwap settles it on-chain.

This creates a connected flow from:

market discovery → trade request → route selection → validation → execution

without forcing the user to manually move through several separate tools.


Autotrade: Rules Instead of Constant Clicking

The larger step is Autotrade.

AlphaSwap plans to let users configure an AI-assisted trading bot through Claude using rules and limits defined by the trader.

For example:

  • only trade approved tokens
  • maximum $250 per trade
  • maximum $1,000 total daily exposure
  • never accept more than 1% slippage
  • only trade on Ethereum
  • stop after three completed trades
  • stop immediately when manually disabled

The important part is that automation remains policy-controlled.

The planned model does not require handing a private key to an AI.

Instead, automation would use scoped trading permissions with explicit limits around what the system is allowed to do.


Controlled Automation, Not Unlimited Wallet Access

The first stage of Alpha Smart Trading will still require users to approve individual swaps through their wallet.

Controlled automation is planned for a later phase.

That layer is being designed around restrictions such as:

  • spending caps
  • approved token lists
  • chain restrictions
  • maximum slippage
  • maximum position size
  • permission expiry
  • manual stop controls

Execution monitoring is also planned, including transaction tracking, activity logs and the ability to stop future automated actions.

The goal is to make automated trading powerful without turning wallet control into an all-or-nothing decision.


$ALPE-Powered Trading Credits

Alpha Smart Trading also introduces another planned utility layer for $ALPE.

Smart Trading and automation features are being designed around $ALPE-powered trading credits, connecting access to advanced AlphaSwap functionality directly back to the AlphaPepe ecosystem.

Initial access is expected to be limited.

Priority is planned around factors including:

  • Alpha rank
  • $ALPE balance
  • early ecosystem participation

This means the first users of Alpha Smart Trading are expected to come from the existing AlphaPepe community rather than from a completely open public rollout.

Why This Matters

Most AI trading tools stop at information.

They can explain a token, summarise a market or suggest what a trader could do next.

Alpha Smart Trading is being developed around a much bigger idea: connecting the intelligence layer directly to execution.

The AI can help discover opportunities and interpret instructions. AlphaRouter can determine how a trade should move. AlphaSwap can prepare, validate and execute it on-chain.

Later, automation can extend that same system into rule-based trading without requiring users to sit in front of a DEX all day.

For $ALPE holders, this adds another direct use case around the product being built: access, Smart Trading credits and priority participation in AlphaSwap’s next trading layer.

Alpha Smart Trading is still being rolled out in stages.
